Heartland Community Health Center serves Lawrence, KS and surrounding areas with primary care, dental care, and mental and behavioral health care, and most recently, pediatric care. The community health center is dedicated to practicing integrated health care – a health model that focuses on physical health as well as emotional, and social health. 
Heartland offers quality, affordable services to all community members, regardless of income or insurance status, or ability to pay. Currently, Heartland serves more than 12,000 unique patients.
Heartland is a non-profit, 501(c) 3, Federally Qualified Health Center and a recognized Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) that offers its patients accessible, coordinated and compassionate care. At Heartland, we don’t just treat individual symptoms, we care for the whole person. Heartland’s integrated approach to health care involves treating patients in a way that ensures that all needs- physical, emotional, mental, and social are being cared for.
